Raspberries
"Raspberries are also big fat liars, because according to Wikipedia, they aren't even berries. How can I trust a fruit to give me delicious goodness when it's totally not being honest to me? Why can't the raspberry be more truthful like an orange?"

Passionfruit Icing
Icing
i really really really want to have an icing party. i have all these recipes for cool icings: grapefruit, banana, PASSIONFRUIT (rachael!). When we were little there was this summer camp thing in our neighborhood and the only thing i remember about it is the one day we got to eat like 5 different colored icings on top of vanilla wafers. probably the best day of my life.here is the passionfruit icing recipe for rachie:
1 1/4 cups (155g) icing sugar, sifted
10 g unsalted butter, softened
1/4 cup (60 ml) passionfruit pulp
Combine the icing sugar, butter and enough passionfruit pulp in a small bowl to make a stiff paste. Stand bowl in a saucepan of simmering water, stirring until the icing is smooth and glossy. Remove the bowl from the heat. Spread the icing over the cake with a flat-bladed knife and allow to set before serving.

Chocolate Peppermint Cookies
I made these cookies a few days after thanksgiving, they're kind of like brownie bites and I put peppermint pieces in the first batch so they would be more exciting for the holidays. I got the recipe from the Kraft Food & Family magazine (free). The cookies weren't very sweet, and I wouldn't make them again although they look alright.

Halloween
buckeyes (peanutbutter/powdered sugar balls dipped in Baker's Chocolate):
I may have used too much powdered sugar because it was really hard to make the peanutbutter stick together so I would probably use another recipe if i make these again.
